Such a sweetie

Sunday, October 26th, 2008

Oh my gosh…this little girl was just the sweetest thing in the whole world! Seriously, look at these eyes!!

Inside this old victorian house was a beautiful piano with a wall covered with an AWESOME full size canvas painting of the carnegie stairs….it wowed me!

And look how much fun she had trying to play the piano! Eventually, the sheet music was a thing of interest, too!

And her aunt brought out this cool red hat to match her pettiskirt!! She was so sweet playing peek a boo!

And then she got into dirt, and yes, she DID try to eat it! LOL!! That capture is priceless!

Another senior guy!!!

Monday, October 20th, 2008

Photographing senior guys and girls are SOOO different. Girls are so excited and can’t wait to show me what they’ve picked out to wear and they have like 10 different outfits! Guys, well, not so much! LOL!! It’s usually a shirt or two with jeans and they’re mainly doing this for mom (God bless them!)

This guy was really great and his big bro came along to get in some shots just for mom (SO NICE!). I had a really nice time with them! He was such a trooper as I took him all over the place, making him step in weeds(where I was seriously wondering if I was going to step on a snake or something!! LOL!!)

My first preschool

Monday, October 20th, 2008

Oh this was so much fun! But yet it felt like so much work!! LOL!! Trying to figure out one kid during a session can be difficult, when you’re trying to figure out what makes them smile, laugh, etc. So, when you get 18 of them, well, you learn to figure things out a lot quicker! LOL!!!

No, seriously, these kiddos were so great. Some just made me laugh! And I really enjoy new experiences, I think it helps me grow not just as a photographer, but as a person. And I must say, I’ve never had so many monkeys on my head in one day! LOL!!! (For those of you who have NOT had a session with me and a little child….I often ask a child if there is a monkey on my head…and we joke about it’s color, what it’s doing and I try to get it off…..this really gives me a great smile/laughing photo)….

Some sisters in school together…..

And this guy was such a ham and then I ‘caught’ him being so cute….

And this little girl just made me smile and laugh when photographing her….her smile is so contagious while editing them I was smiling!

And gosh, I wish I could remember what this guy was laughing at! I remember I was saying something really silly and it was just CRACKING him up!!!

Two little cuties….

Monday, October 20th, 2008

These two made me smile when I pulled up. I got out of my car and the little guy just IMMEDIATELY started telling me stories. LOL!! They were so cute with eachother. I LOVE shots of kids just being kids. Telling secrets, making faces, having fun. Isn’t childhood great? And to know they grow so up so quickly, in a blink of an eye, they’re grown. Makes me want to be a kid again!

And this girl makes me laugh!

Monday, October 20th, 2008

I know her and her mom from hockey. My husband used to coach her brother. She was so fun at the games and she was so fun during her session! The weather wasn’t working with us at times, but she was still so cheery!

This girl is AWESOME at shot-put, so, of course we had to incorporate that in!!!

Seniors are so fun!

Monday, October 20th, 2008

I have photographed quite a few seniors in August/September/October and each one is just so much fun! The ideas they have, the clothes they wear. Makes me feel like I’m in highschool all over again when I’m giggling with a senior girl about how awesome her outfits she chose are.

I think it’s awesome to hear back from a mom that their teen thought I was cool. HA HA! I’m upgraded to being a ‘cool’ adult. YIKES!

This girl was so super nice. She even walked through tons of weeds to get some shots. IN HIGH HEELS! Such a sport!

oh where did nikki go??

Monday, October 20th, 2008

Yes, I know I’ve been MIA for quite some time. My kiddos all were sick, then better, then sick again! Thought I was in the clear and then, of course, I was not. BUT I’m starting to feel better and starting to get caught up! Tis my busy season and I’m working as hard as I can!

So, I’m WAYYY behind on blogging, but let’s see if I can update a little tonight, hey???

This senior is so beautiful! Her mom was so sweet the whole time. And they put up with me having to reschedule due to being sick. So, thanks so much for being so great!!

I had such a hard time chosing which photos to post!
